Buttermilk Syrup (Magleby's)

1 c. buttermilk
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
Combine in large pan and bring to a boil, using a whisk, stir occasionally.
Remove from heat and add vanilla and baking soda, stirring with the whisk.
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
This will foam up to the top of the pan. Be careful!
